Fireworks
Took some photos the other night. Here's a few I liked.
(I think Flickr's process washes out the colors, so you can also view them here with a bit more vibrancy.)

Thanks Dawnette. I am so glad you and the kids are ok. We didn't have anything near the excitement you had on the 4th. Unless you are uncomfortable in crowds... I had a slight moment of panic when I lost sight of my wife walking to the car in the crowds of people downtown for fireworks and Blues Festival.
Nice.
What time did you post these? I thought you went to bed around 7:30 pm. What were you doing up so late on a work night? :-)
peace.
Well, I broke my bedtime rule last night. I've felt bad about not having any new posts for a while and I knew I had these pictures to share, so I stayed up late and worked on this. Pretty sad, huh? I was 45 minutes late to work this morning because I couldn't drag my sleepy head out of bed.
I guess I should check to see who's logged on to this computer before I post a comment.
Anyhow, I'm sure Han would have said the same.
peace.
Very nice! Love the slow(ish) shutter look, perfect.
I shot the Happy Valley fireworks in HD for stock use. Whenver I have an animation that needs a little pop, I'll pull these out.
I did some rack-focus effects, which look awesome when the points of light are moving.
Johnathan, glad you clarified. I was like, "man, Hannah sure is growing up fast..."
I was just picturing her going, "Nice." "peace!".
My first thought was--no way, he didn't take those pictures himself. Then I read the comments and realized--he really did do that. Great job.
I thought Hanna was extremely witty! thanks for posting. I guess I'll come visit again...
